Robert Hesse, owner of Hesse Industrial Sales Incorporated has announced the formation of Hesse-Reynolds Sales Company. This joining of the sales operations of 2 sales organizations owned by Hesse Industrial Sales Inc., which have been operating independently, brings significant value to both our customers and our principals. Hesse Industrial Sales and The David S. Reynolds Company have both been leaders in their fields since their establishment in the early 1960’s. Hesse Industrial Sales Inc. acquired the David S. Reynolds Company in 1989. 

Hesse–Reynolds Sales was formed to provide more extensive territory coverage for our principals. We will have 7 outside sales personnel, an inside sales and support staff of 5 and 2 technicians in our instrument laboratory. We will have 2 offices, 1 in Orchard Park [Buffalo], NY and 1 in Latham [Albany], NY. The opportunity exists to open additional offices in the state when the business climate warrants.

For our customers the organizational change will mean more efficient and effective sales coverage. Many of our customers know we are under the same ownership and while they are trying to reduce their supplier base this will help them in this effort. In addition in many instances they can generate 1 purchase order for products thereby saving purchasing dollars. It will additionally give them only 1 point of contact instead of trying to deal with 2 separate companies.

We are a member of the Instrument Society of America [ISA] and exhibit at 4 shows in New York State. The company is also a member of TAPPI the Trade Association of the Paper and Pulp Industry and exhibit at their New York State show every year.
